Building a career around you

Proco Global has grown from a standing start to a global business in six short years.

The business was originally focused on working with clients and candidates in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and, despite a difficult economic climate, managed to grow to 14 people by the end of year two.

Since then, the company has been through even greater growth. We now have a team of over 100 employees across three regions and nine offices around the world.

What’s all the fuss about?

We like to do things a bit differently at Proco Global – by our own definition we are a challenger brand.  This means we are passionate about going against the grain, challenging the status quo to get the best for our clients, candidates and just as importantly the people who work for us.

Our values are really important to us. We are a business with personality and an incredible drive to succeed. We want to be a brand that people respect and remember.

We have a very different style of management here at Proco Global. It's not for everyone, but we like it and it works for us as a business.

Essentially, once your objectives have been agreed in your first week, you will be given the freedom and autonomy to build your desk in the way that suits your style of working.  You can, within the broad definition of your role, organise your own work and day-to-day activities.

This is an important philosophy for us: we are a hungry, ambitious business and we hire hungry, ambitious people. We therefore give you the opportunity and resources you need to succeed here. Your manager won’t sit on your shoulder or micro-manage. That is really not our style, mainly because we don't think it works.

We are very proud of our management structure here at Proco.  We invest a great deal of time into our various management teams to arm them with the skills and confidence to mentor successfully. 

We have a very flat structure – our CEO and COO interact frequently with all consultants and business services staff, often fetching treats, tea rounds and plenty more besides.
