Due to company expansion and rapid growth, this leading Private Equity Aerospace firm engaged Proco Global to aid in the search of a General Manager position for their new Spanish operations.

The client was in need of a General Manager to run and start up the new operations in Spain, as well as a US-based Director to oversee this project and other upcoming projects.

Working together with our North American colleagues, our global team were able to run the two searches concurrently.  Due to the rapid expansion, our client had extremely tight recruitment timelines in mind for the two roles, a challenge we felt confident in delivering on.

By utilising our cross-continent specialist research team we were able to identify a long list of potential professionals for each role.  We conducted initial telephone competency and technical screening with all candidates in order to formulate a shortlist.

For the Spain-based General Manager position we focused on European professionals who had the required technical and leadership skills.  Within seven days of the search commencing we were able to produce a shortlist of four potential candidates.  All four professionals proceeded to initial interview stage with the client, with two candidates progressing to the final stage.

The preferred candidate was offered the role and accepted within six weeks, well within the tight deadline required by the client.
