Proco Global appoints Stephen Smith as CEO for Americas

Newly created role to support Proco Global’s programme of expansion in the region

February 2017. Global supply chain recruitment specialist, Proco Global, has appointed Stephen Smith to the newly created role of CEO for its North and South America operations for Proco Global and Proco Associates.

With responsibility for Proco Global’s business across its offices in Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver, Sao Paulo and Mexico City, Stephen will drive expertise and client service across the sectors and functions that Proco Global operates. Externally he will also drive new client partnerships, championing Proco Global’s strategy for growth throughout the Americas region.

Stephen brings 16 years of industry experience to this new role having held senior positions in executive search in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong and the UK. He will also sit on the Proco Global board and contribute to cementing the company’s position as the premier recruiter for supply chains around the world.
Stephen’s appointment also follows the opening of a Proco Global office in Los Angeles in May 2016 which services a growing amount of key clients in Proco Global’s main sector specializations such as Consumer Goods, Life Sciences and Aerospace, along with the growth of its Proco Associates business.
